Mccain cannot even manage his campaign and his job as senator...

The big political news of the day of course is Mr Bush's (I'll never call him Mr. President..) proposal to reverse the blunder that he's responsible. Afterall it is under his watch that our country is at it's most dire moment since the great depression.

I think it's both funny, stupid, and outrageous, that Mccain is calling for a 'hold' on the campaigning process. Yes there is a lot going on, but I think American's need new leadership now, more than ever before in the history of this country. I think American's need to know that there will be a new leader before long, who can hopefully take us in a new direction.

I think this is a ploy by the Mccain campaign to get around debating altogether. They know that they cannot win a debate. They know that they don't stand a chance against Obama in an open debate. I believe Mccain is extremely afraid at the moment.

I honestly hope and pray that Obama does not give in and grant him his 'postponement'. I believe that the debate should go on as planned. If Mccain does sit out - then I think Obama should have some sort of live phone-in question and answer session with America. Give him the whole hour of FREE airplay, and let him answer questions about how he will run this country.

I think the only change that might be recommended would be to have the debate in DC to make it easy for both to attend the debate, as well as participate in the financial fix.

I think Mccain's campaign is dieing a fast and painful death. He's obviously not ready for a debate, and quite afraid. That's the real reason that he is not showing up on Friday. The American people deserve to have this debate. We've waited long enough. We've seen enough biassed political ads. We want to see the two would be Presidents battle it out face to face.

Introducing Whitehouse2008.info - Popurls / alltops of politics

If you haven't heard about whitehouse2008.info yet, it's about time you did. Whitehouse2008.info is a brilliant website designed to give you an inside look at both sides of the 2008 election. You can watch the republicans and democrats battle live via rss feeds that update continuously.

This is truly an awesome resource, and there are a lot of great items in their store where you can purchase obama shwag, mccain relics, donkey(democrat) crap, Elephant dung(Republican goods), or anti-bush gear, if that's your thing.

I highly recommend taking a moment to check it out.

Edwards Finishes 3rd, but he's far from Over.

Edwards managed to finish third in New Hampshire. Which is saddening since I think he is one of the candidates with the most character and integrity, (besides Dennis Kucinich, lol)..

But don't let that upset you, Edwards is in this till the end, he is determined to be President, I believe he will get that wish, if not this time around, then definitely in 2012, or 2016. I'm sure we haven't seen the end of him.

I'd love to see an Obama / Edwards vie for the whitehouse, personally. Perhaps Edwards should bow out, in order to give Obama the edge and keep Hillary from the oval office.

Regretfully Announcing the Winners of the NH Primary 2008

The results are in, some precincts are still reporting, but by all accounts, somehow the wicked witch from Arkansas has managed to take over New Hampshire, or at least gain their vote, why or how, I can't begin to understand...(she is from Arkansas, right? or is she from New York..maybe I should research..she's the NY senator, but Bill was Arkansas' governor...oh well who knows or cares?)....

On the republican side, it looks like Mccain has taken the lead, it's going to be one of those races that, you just don't know what's going to happen next. I must say, I'd like to see Huckabee win the Republican ticket, just because it would show that it doesn't matter how much money you have to throw at it. That maybe we should take money out of politicking altogether.

I actually just can't like Romney at all, he just seems stuck up and full of himself. I don't care if he is Mormon, and shares the same faith. I'd vote for just about anyone but him or Hillary. Of course Ron Paul as Republican leader would be a nice change.

Barack Obama announced that he is "still fired up and ready to go" after finishing second to Hillary Clinton in the New Hampshire Primary. The results at one point were too close to call with Hillary only leading by a small margin, which at least shows that he has the support, Hillary just manged to garner a little more of the vote, which was expected of the people in New Hampshire.

It's believed if you win Iowa and New Hampshire, then you'll win the nation, it is now definitely anybody's ball game. I'm excited to see what comes about, in a way I think this is more exciting than a good hockey or basketball game. Honestly, I am a little anxious, as I don't think we want Clinton as a president, I don't think she has what it takes, to be honest, and her campaign seems to be faltering slightly.

More from Obama:

"You know, a few weeks ago no one imagined that we'd have accomplished what we did here tonight in New Hampshire," he told supporters. "For most of this campaign, we were far behind. We always knew our climb would be steep.

"But, in record numbers, you came out and you spoke up for change. And with your voices and your votes you made it clear that at this moment in this election there is something happening in America."

He then congratulated Senator Clinton, and asked the crowd to give her a round of Applause.

"All the candidates in this race have good ideas and all are patriots who serve this country honorably," Obama said.

I wish the dagnabbit Media would Stop Blackballing Kucinich, he deserves to be heard.

Hey, Check out this video, I just received, by a Kucinich support organization. Also watch the youtube video below as it is pretty scary how the media can blackball a presidential candidate. What's next... Appealing freedom of speech altogether?

Let's hope not!

As you may or may not know, besides Kucinich, I am a big fan of John Edwards, I like how he's not owned by corporations, and doesn't take corrupt money for his campaign, like obama and clinton.

Here's a letter I wrote, hoping that he might at least speak up at the outrage of ABC... By the way, you can bet your bottom dollar, that I will be boycotting any item advertised on ABC, and will be boycotting Disney...

My Dear John Letter...hehe...

John, I'm a big fan of yours, I must say I most strongly fit with Kucinich, but by far, you are my candidate of choice beyond Kucinich, most likely you will receive my vote, because I do think you may be more likely to win, but I still think Kucinich's voice should be allowed to be heard. I think Ron Paul's voice should've been able to be heard at the Fox debate as well.

Personally, I'd be extremely happy if Dennis Kucinich were your running mate.

The reason I'm writing is to express my concern that Dennis wasn't even allowed in the debate.

I think, that you or someone with integrity should at least speak up and say that it isn't right, if anything it may even add to your image, and garner you some support from the Kucinich camp.

I think when abc, disney, or fox can pick and choose which Presidential candidates to allow or ban from debates, we are entering a shifty era. Two stones throw from the propaganda control of Nazi Germany.

As I said I am a big fan of Kucinich, I do doubt he has enough to win, but I think his views should be heard.

I actually plan on voting for you, because I prefer you much more than the other two candidates, but ANYONE is better than Hillary in my own personal Opinion.

I thank you for your attention to this email.

Best Wishes,

Barack Obama for President? Sure why not!

The new guy in the Senate, Barack Obama is stirring up the waters.

Of course Kucinich is my man, and has been since he ran in 2004. Having no big corporate sponsorships he was able to raise 15 million dollars, raised wholly by his grass-root efforts and his fans and constituents - which I think is admirable, I think corporations shouldn't have a say in who becomes the next president and therefore shouldn't be allowed to give funding.

I also think he may be a little too outspoken for society to handle right now, though to me I feel it's a breath of fresh air, to some his message may seem too far to the left. Personally I agree fully that we should stop funding the war and divert efforts toward building up America, as far as world health care and education goes we should be number 1. We're in the teens!

Another candidate I could possibly endorse would be Barack Obama. I think it would be a great thing to have someone younger in office, he would definitely get the young vote, and the black vote, and I believe he would get a well rounded vote from both democrats and republicans who are tired of this war. I think obama should focus also on forming a strategic way to get us out now.

I hate Dubya, like ..most everyone else in this country and the world, but now I kinda feel almost sorry for the bastard. He's the most hated person in the world, is losing his friends and even his family is starting to question his policies, he's not very bright intellectually, and after his presidency is probably going to be subject to many many many hate crimes, and need bodyguards till the day he dies. He's got a crisis in Iraq that nobody has any idea how to get out of at least any good ideas, and right now its coming down to his biggest decisions as president, glad I'm not in his shoes. The middle east get's scarier each week.

Personally, I think this is a lesson from God that America is way too prideful. Putting Mc Donald's and Walmart before God, in God we Trust - right. If we would just apologize to the world and say hey, look we know we messed up really bad with this stupid war, would you all please help us find a way out of this? Maybe form a huge international congress to decide what happens with iraq - perhaps the top 3 members of every governing body could meet with the most intelligent people in the world, from all walks of life - teachers, professors, scientists, dr's, lawyers, etc. The biggest world summit ever, and finally maybe we could achieve peace in the middle east. Also you should invite the top leaders of both the Sunni's and the Shiites, and don't close the summit till both parties are happy and have equal representation, maybe we could even do like Germany if we really need to. Build a huge wall and put the shiites on one side and the Sunni's on the other. To every strife there's a resolution, not always a easy one, but Bush would have to speak to the world and take some damn responsibility for this conflict.

After all the war was started because of lies. The world deserves a chance to help and I'm sure if we humble ourselves and ask the nations of the world to help, and even rejoin the treaties that we broke away from such as the Kyoto treaty, etc. The world would be more than happy to help us end this conflict. Why do we need to save face? Why do we need to have so much damn pride?

Alas I digress, I've gotten off on a tangent, the point of this blog was to say I'd like to see Barack Obama run for president as I could see him garning a lot of support from the democrats, and from voters who don't usually vote. Personally, I think it would be cool to see him as President with Hilary or Kucinich as his Vice President.

But that's just my thoughts.

In these times of war, and trials, I would like to leave a Christmas wish that maybe Peace and Goodwill can come into the political picture, that we can all have a Merry Christmas and that the Lord will soften the hearts of men that they may attain peace in the days to come.
